Horsemanship & Riding Lessons with Ms. Mags​
* Riding Programs: *
Tiny Trots offers beginner through intermediate/advanced riding lessons & horsemanship activities to children ages 2 and up.

 I offer English, Western, and Bareback Instruction. Unless you have a specific discipline that you want your child to ride, I like to let the kids try out the different riding styles, and eventually pick which discipline they want to focus on. I teach proper equitation, a balanced, deep seat & quiet hands in both diciplines. In English, I am certified to teach jumping up through simple courses. In Western, I teach general seat, position, & control, as well as patterns & beginner speed events.
I offer a variety of riding programs to suit your needs:
*Horseback Riding Lessons - $40/Hour *
​ One-Hour HorsemanShip & Riding Lessons are offered to children age 6+
Horsemanship lessons at Tiny Trots aim to teach the total horse-care experience. Your child will learn the correct way safely to halter, lead, tie, groom, tack up, and of course ride a horse. Grooming & tacking up, as well as untacking and cooling out the horse are part of the lesson. I believe that proper horse care and education are just as important as riding time.
Ms. Mags will be always be there to help, but once you are proficient at getting your horse ready you are welcome to come 15 minutes prior to your lesson to groom and tack up, so you can get the most saddle time possible.
*Please do not arrived early until you have received a Certificate of Achievement in 'Pre-Lesson Competancy' from Ms. Mags - *You must be able to lead, tie, groom, gather all your tack and tack up the horse without any assistance in order to achieve this Certificate*
*The Preschool Pony Experiance- $25/Half-Hour*​
The Preschool Pony Experience:
For children under age 5 I offer "The Preschool Pony Experience" for $25/half-hour- This is a unique program that offers preschoolers the chance for one-on-one interaction with horses & ponies. The lesson includes meeting and getting the child comfortable with the horse/pony on the ground, learning horse safety, feeding treats, petting & learning parts of the horse, grooming & learning the different grooming tools, learning to hold the lead rope, how to put a halter on and lead the pony or horse (with help, and then independently), learning how to "think like a horse" - Plus going for a pony ride around the pasture.
These lessons eventually progress to regular riding lessons IN the saddle (learning to ride independantly) once the child has learned the groundwork skills and is confident around the horses.
**I also offer this same Pony Experiance for 1-hour for $40, but some young ones don't have the attention span for the whole hour- so its an individual decision. If your little one has "Pony Fever" - I think the hour is the better option.**
Ms. Mags has preschool teaching experience and has competed her FL Staff credential (formerly CDA). This program is great for little ones who LOVE horses.
*Pony Rides:
Pony Rides (at the barn): .
- $10.00 for an approx. 15 minute pony ride at the Barn; text/call ahead for an appointment.
Pony Rides are not as involved as the Preschool Pony Experience.
The instructor will get the pony ready before you arrive, and your child will have the chance to get aqquaianted with our pony, and go for a short a ride on the leadine.

Ever wanted a pony or horse to come make an appearance or give rides at your home for a party or special event?
Well, Pippin & Lexi are available for hire!
(CharlieB will also be availble soon!)
**(Rider weight limit 75lbs on Pippin/CharlieB, 175lbs on Lexi.)**
Off-Site Pony Ride Packages:
One PONY (Pippin or CharlieB) =$100/per hour
One HORSE (Lexi or Chip) =$110/per hour
One PONY & one HORSE (Pippin & Lexi or Chip) =$150/per hour
Two(2) PONIES & one HORSE (Pippin & CharlieB & Lexi or Chip)=$200/per hour
(Additional trailing fees may apply. Rates explained under the 'birthday parties' tab)
*Our "PONIES" are appoximately 40" tall at the withers(shoulder) and have a weight limit of 75lbs.
*Our "HORSES" are between 14-16hands high at the withers(shoulder) and have a weight limit of 175lbs.
Tiny Trots goes Mobile!
Tiny Trots now has its own Pony Limousine, so we are now up and running for Birthday Parties, Pony Rides, Photo shoots, Fundraisers, and other Special Events at YOUR location!

Other special bookings will be done by private treaty. Cost will depened upon how many horses/ponies are attending, duration of the event, and distance from my stable.
