Welcome to Tiny Trots!
...Horsemanship for the very young, and young at heart!
~~~~~~~~> IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: <~~~~~~~
***As of March 1st 2015, Tiny Trots will be relocating to Polk City, Florida.***
We are very excited to finally have a barn & property of our own.
Once we get settled in, we will be hosting a public "barn warming" event.
Keep an eye out for updates in the near furure!
We will be beginning our move up to the new property on the 21st.
Regular lessons will continue through next week in Pinellas Park.
Other availability is limited at this time, but if you would like to try to schedule a lesson or pony ride before the horses move on March 1st, please TEXT message me.
In fact. how would everyone feel about a "Send-off Party" at the Pinellas barn for current student and their families? Send me a message on facebook with your thoughts about that idea. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What we offer:
Horseback riding Lessons- Private, one-on-one instruction on a quiet school horse or pony.
Preschool Pony Experiance- Introdution to horsemanship with an empasis on safety. The "glorified pony ride."
Pony Rides- Hand-led pony rides, not on a carousel wheel. At the barn, or in your own backyard!
Pony Parties- Birthdays, Special Events, Charity Funraisers.
Want a pony there? We can probably make it happen!
You can read more about our different programs under the "Riding Programs" tab.
Although Tiny Trots programs are geared toward children, I will never turn away the adult child-at-heart who is looking to ride. Feel free to contact me with any questions or for more information. Our ponies have a weight limit of 75lbs and our largest horse has a weight limit of 180lbs.
Tiny Trots offers riding lessons, pony rides & parties, trail rides, leasing/working student opportunities, and student participation in local shows.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The residents that live in the house on the property are not affiliated with Tiny Trots Riding Lessons. Please do not go knocking on the door asking for information or a tour. Visits and lessons can be scheduled through Ms. Mags BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! ~ Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
The Tiny Trots Herd
The Tiny Trots herd currently consists of four horses, and others are occasionally available. The main herd includes: Pippin, Lexi, Chip, and CharlieB.
Pippin is a Shetland pony who the littlest riders usually start out on. He gives pony rides and can also be ridden independantly by small riders.
Lexi is a quarter horse mare who gives beginner and intermediate lessons, and is the next step up for Tiny Trotters who need a little more of a challage, or are too big to start out on Pippin.
Chip is Ms. Mags' personal horse, a pintabian. He gives lessons to experianced riders who have an indpendant seat and quiet hands. Chippie was Ms. Mags' very 1st horse, and he is now 23 years old, but don't try to tell him that!
CharlieBrown is a registered American Shetland Pony gelding. He is in training to pull a cart, and loves to be brushed and have his mane braided. He is still in training, but soon he will be great for pony rides. CharlieB is very loving & cuddly, not to mention dashingly handsome & photogenic.
